ZeroShell Virtual Appliance
ZeroShell Release 1.0.beta12 VirtualBox Appliance.
This sits on and boots from an 8GB dynamic virtual hard disk. Download
virtualbox from sun microsystems for whatever host system you run and simply
import Zeroshell-HD.ovf.
Then boot the virtual machine.
Comes configured with 256MB RAM and 2 virtual NICS each of which is bridged with
a single hardware NIC. These options are easily configurable.
The virtual disk is in vmdk format so it can also be used with
VMware.
My own preference is Virtualbox since it does what VMware Workstation does for
free!

The possibilities here are great. I am already using
this on a linux based voip PBX with great success.
I intend to try running it on windows servers as the internet gateway with
possibilities for bonded connections. No reason why it shouldn't be
successful.
